Declare Your Support For Abortion Coverage in Oregon
September 30, 2014 marked 38 years since Congress first passed the Hyde Amendment, banning federal funding for abortions for low-income women.
In Oregon, we’ve stood up for the right to access reproductive health care, including abortion, for women enrolled in publicly-funded insurance. But anti-choice activists have been working to take that coverage away, and for many Oregonians, reproductive health care is still unaffordable and out of reach. In Oregon, thousands of women are slipping through the cracks, unable to get the reproductive health care they need.
Join Oregon Foundation for Reproductive Health, NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon, and Western States Center and take the pledge to support efforts to ensure every person has access to reproductive health care, including abortion.
